I Am Taking a Holiday Blogging Break Until Mid-January

by John Soares on December 19, 2011

Last week I wrote about what the best practices for taking a blogging break. This week I’m officially announcing that… I’m taking a holiday blogging break until mid-January of 2012.

My partner Stephanie and I are house-sitting in Santa Cruz, California, and nearby areas, including a house-sit in San Francisco, for the next several weeks. Here’s what I’ll be doing:

Feel free to read the most-recent ProductiveWriters.com posts and the most popular ProductiveWriters.com posts, both featured in the sidebar.

And if you haven’t already, subscribe to email updates or the RSS feed (top of the sidebar).

I’ll still be active on Twitter — look for tweets of the best posts from the PW Archives.

recharging our own batteries is very important. Also because working in front of computer monitors is very exhausting.

(I’ve got 3 monitors, two in front and one on the right side of the desk).

But anyway my job is music creation, and sometimes I need to relax my ears as well :) I wish you all a wonderful 2012!

    Hi John

Enjoy your break. I had a big break from blogging in 2011; several months while I revamped my lavender blog, sourced some beautiful products and built a new site.

I feel very energized for 2012 so other than not working much over the Christmas break, I’m ready to grow my business this year and back putting in the hours again.

All the best for your ventures in 2012 John and hope you come back refreshed.

I’ve made an important design restyle of my blog, and applied filters to stop bots from harvesting my site. If any of you want to check my blog and see if they like what they see and also if they can easily surf with no stops…

if you want to know what I’ve done, send me an email, I’ll explain in detail.

John, in the meantime… have fun!! I’m sure you’ll love these two weeks and I can’t wait to see the photos. Natural landscapes are the best.

For people who work at home traveling and taking breaks for vacation is very important to relax and replenish our energy. It is also a perfect time to reorganize our thoughts and contemplate to become more productive individual.
